Jeev Singh, a former ACU national champion golfer, is in action right now in one of the biggest tournaments in the world, the Accenture Match Play Championship.
Follow Jeev's match with three-time major champion Padraig Harrington here.
UPDATE: Jeev defeated Harrington, 3 and 1, to advance to the second round of the Accenture Match Play. Thursday, he'll take on former U.S. Amateur champ Matt Kuchar.
Chad Campbell, whose brother, Mike, is the ACU golf coach, is playing his first round match against one of the four No. 1 seeds, Martin Kaymer of Germany.
THURSDAY UPDATE: Jeev survived his second round match against Matt Kuchar, winning 1 up despite a couple of late birdies from the 1998 U.S. Amateur winner. Jeev plays a third round match Friday against Englishman Ian Poulter and all his sartorial splendor.
FRIDAY UPDATE: Jeev lost his third round match to Ian Poulter, 5 and 4. He'll stay in the desert to compete in next week's Waste Management Open - which, contrary to how it may sound, is not Tiger Woods' tournament - in Phoenix.
