ACU Drive No. 2

Daryl Richardson runs around left end for a gain of 3 to the 23.  Kendrick Johnson runs around the right side for a first down at the ACU 30.  Edmund Gates catches a pass in the right flat from Stewart for a gain of 7.  A swing pass to FB Justin Andrews gains 1.  Stewart completes a pass to the right to WR Dennis Campbell, and he scampers to the ACU 49 for a gain of 13.  Stewart's pass to Richardson is just off his fingertips, and incomplete.  Richardson finds tough running up the middle, gaining 2 to the SEO 49.  Pass to Dennis Campbell is good at the 42, short of a first down. On fourth down, Richardson breaks through the line and sprints 29 yards, pushed out of bounds at the SEO 11.  An interference penalty on ACU moves the ball back to the 16.  Richardson tries left tackle but is brought down for a gain of 2.  WR Edmund Gates jumps for a Stewart pass in the end zone and comes down with the 14-yard TD reception.  Navarro's PAT is good and ACU takes the lead, 7-0, with 3:47 left in Q1.
