ACU Drive No. 7

To make a long story short, ACU elects to let the clock wind down and the first half expire, with the Wildcats preserving a 17-0 lead. Angelo State looks a mere shadow of its No. 23-ranked self, with virtually no offense (67 yards and five first downs) and little defensive effect (ACU has 215 yards and 14 first downs).  Looks like the Homecoming Curse to me.  Or a seriously-jellin' ACU team. This 17-0 first half has got to be an eye-opener for the rest of the LSC scoreboard-watchers. The stats will follow, while Angelo State crowns its Homecoming queen and the band tries to avoid having a third timeout charged to its football team for being long-winded.
