On third down, Daryl Richardson runs around left end but is successful, taking the ball to the WT 15 and a first down. Richardson runs up the middle, losing 3 yards on the play. Gale passes complete to Richardson, who is tackled at the 16. On third down, Gale's pass complete to Richardson in the left flat, but he is stopped short of a first down at the WT 12. Morgan Lineberry's 29-yard field goal attempt is wide right with 7:49 left in Q3, and ACU still leading, 14-12.
