WT takes over on its 20. Taylor Harris passes complete for a first down at the Buffs' 34. Harris' pass to TE Tyson Williams is complete in the right flat. Harris passes complete to RB Keithon Flemming, and he takes the ball down the right sideline and out of bounds at the ACU 40. Harris ' pass to Williams is too tall on the right sideline. Harris is pressured out of the pocket, and his pass is intercepted by DB Drew Cuffee. However, ACU is flagged for holding, so WT gets a first down at the ACU 30. Harris is tackled for a loss by DE Nick Jones at the ACU 36. Flemming runs up the middle to the Wildcat 23. On third down,  Harris pass over the middle to Josephius Martin for a first down at the ACU 8. Harris passes complete to Fleming, who runs untouched to the end zone for a WT TD. Harris' pass is too tall for his receiver on the 2-point try, and the new score is WT 18, ACU 14 with 5:05 left in Q3.
